Meet Oliver. |
My dog has this insane ability to find something foul smelling in my backyard all.the.time. We can never find what it is, nor would we probably want to.
As a puppy, he was bathed at the groomers every 4 weeks.
Now, because he is a toddler, he is messy and smelly and can't last 4 weeks between baths, so I have to do it at home. Boo!
Did you know that Blackmores have a range of "cosmetics" and health products for your favourite four legged family members?
I didn't, until I was sent this for review a while back
[BAD, BAD Blogger! Sit, Stay, Blog!]
What they say:
Formulated for all adult dogs, PAW 2 in 1 Conditioning Shampoo is pH balanced for adult dogs with healthy skin, using pawDerm® technology that combines:
- Hypoallergenic sulphate free gentle cleaners for an effective gentle clean without irritating or stripping natural oils from the skin.
- Rich moisturising & nourishing conditioners to soften, detangle & enrich the coat & skin.
- Natural essential oils of lavender & jojoba to nurture the skin & provide a fresh pure scent.
What We Think:
First up, the smell. It is amazeballs. Usually dog shampoos are very chemically "scented" and disappears only for the Wet Dog smell to linger after dry. The Lavender is not overpowering and leaves Puppy smelling delightful for days.
Having a dark coloured dog, it becomes very obvious when a product disagrees with his skin, there was no dry spots, no flaking, his fur did not dry out even after blowdrying and he didn't scratch afterwards. Just like a good conditioner, his poodle curls were lovely and glossy and I didn't even have to groom him after - WIN!
All in all it left him delightfully scented, flake, fuzz and itch free.
Check out their website for more information on available products and stockists.
So now Oliver is free to nap, and roll, and play all over the furniture because he smells absolutely devine.
Now you have the opportunity to get your, erm, paws? on this Pet Friendly Shampoo, along with a PAW Product Hamper [valued at RRP $200] thanks to PAW and Blackmores.
[And yes, there are products for Kitties as well!]
