What I Say:

Whilst my skin is sensitive and I get the rare bout of scalp dryness, my only real complaint is scalp itchiness. This is usually limited to after being exposed to chlorine, chemicals or after I've had my hair dyed, so I was pretty interested to see how this Shampoo/Conditioner would go at cleaning hair and looking after my scalp because they aren't always mutually exclusive.

I wash my hair every 2-3 days to rid of product buildup, but can usually get 4-5 days between washes before the dreaded grease shine halo appears.
The formula of the shampoo wasn't dissimilar to most. This is a clear liquid with a slight gel feel and was without fragrance. The shampoo did a decent job of stripping product build up without drying out my hair.
The formula of the conditioner was more of a cream than the gel like shampoo. The formula is fragrance free, and despite having a slight chemical smell on application it quickly disappeared and did not linger on rinsed hair.

Neither products caused any irritation or dryness, In fact, I had the opposite, I was needing to wash my hair MORE because it would look greasy within 1-2 days.
However, on my dry scalped sister she did not have the same problem and loved this Shampoo/Conditioner.
As I have mentioned here before, I am not incredibly monogamous when it comes to Shampoo/Conditioners and whilst I do swap and change I would be unlikely to purchase this in the future. QV Shampoo and Conditioner would be much better suited to those who suffer with dry scalps, it adds too much moisture for us regular scalps.

The packaging is sturdy and is still in tact despite being dropped. I definitely prefer the "upside down" bottle for ease of use. After 2 weeks of use there is still a substantial amount in the bottle, this would last quite a while.

This product retails at $9.95 for 200mL from Priceline and Pharmacies across Australia
